The History of ValAsta

In 2003, Samuel Shepherd was diagnosed with a rare type of bone marrow cancer which could not be treated with conventional treatments. Sam was well educated and had years of experience as a researcher and inventor with over 40 patents. He was heavily involved in chemistry of certain algae species in other projects he was working on. Sam knew that the algae he was using was safe and would not harm him. The chemical produced naturally by the algae is Astaxanthin and has been used for years in the fish industry to give color to farm grown salmon. Through this research and research of his medical condition, he identified the chemistry needed for a solution to his condition. He began testing his theories on himself and found that it helped. His lab tests greatly improved, and he realized that it must be the astaxanthin. The difficulty with basic astaxanthin is that it is not well absorbed so he had to take a very large amount, so he used his chemistry knowledge and after years of innovative experimentation, he developed and patented ValAsta, a glycosidic astaxanthin. ValAsta is the only astaxanthin supplement patented to treat inflammatory conditions. ValAsta-astaxanthin is well absorbed into the cells where inflammation occurs. Inflammation is what caused his cancer. By eliminating the inflammation, his cancer went away. Through the act of sharing his successful recovery with family and friends, the word very quickly spread and ValAsta was formed in 2018.

Sam did not plan on creating a new company as he was heavily involved in other projects. However, he and his wife were being asked by friends to help them and then friends of friends until they were forced to begin offering it for sale. When friends were helped with their cancer issues, they realized that their arthritis also went away and some that had diabetes (type II) no longer had diabetes, Sam begin to look at the main cause of disease and then discovered that over 90% of all known diseases were caused by inflammation. He theorized that if you could stop chronic inflammation, you could reduce the number of diseases many were plagued with. He also found that the natural protection that our bodies produce to protect us when we are young also diminished as we aged. Women around age 40 and men over 50 began to lose the ability to neutralize the inflammation naturally. That is why we see such an increase in age onset diseases.

Founded in 2018, the ValAsta team has been dedicated to researching and sharing knowledge of the benefits of ValAsta. Some people want to know why this information is not widely known or advertised. Interestingly enough, when someone we know and trust tells us of a product that is helpful, we are much more likely to believe them than if we see a paid ad. Sam and the ValAsta team have been sharing the information as much as possible, but many people find it difficult to believe that one product can do so much. We as a society have been trained by the pharmaceutical industry that we must have a different drug for every condition. One for heart disease, one for arthritis, one for diabetes, one for ______ (fill in the blank). If the disease is caused by inflammation, ValAsta will help. If we are told by a trusted friend, we believe them enough to try it. Word of mouth travels very fast and without advertising in just 3 years of offering ValAsta for sale, we have clients in all 50 states of the US and also in 15 countries.

Sam is very healthy at age 70, he and his wife take ValAsta every day to keep inflammation down. They obtain a HS-CRP test every 3-6 months to make sure they keep the result below 3mg/L. They know that they do not have the natural ability to fight inflammation which occurs in everyone.
